The BMW iX1 LWB is a masterstroke of product planning. The 116 mm longer wheelbase transforms the rear seat experience — three adults sit very comfortably with genuine limousine-like legroom. Real-world city range is around 400-430 km and highway range around 360-380 km which is very good for the 66.4 kWh battery. The Rs 49 lakh price is extremely competitive for BMW. The fixed panoramic glass roof makes the cabin feel wonderfully airy. The ride quality is absorbent and composed — typical BMW-level refinement. An outstanding luxury EV value proposition.

Bought the iX1 LWB six months ago and it has been a very satisfying ownership experience. The extra wheelbase makes a meaningful difference in rear passenger comfort — my elderly parents are very comfortable. Real-world range of 390-420 km in city conditions is impressive for the battery size. The BMW Connected app and remote features work seamlessly. The Mocha brown interior is warm and premium. The 11.9 kW onboard AC charger is quick for home charging. BMW's service quality and dealer experience has been excellent throughout. Very happy with this purchase.

The iX1 LWB at Rs 49 lakh is the most value-competitive BMW ever offered in India. Real-world city range of 400-430 km and highway range of 360-380 km are very good figures. The ride quality is the highlight — the adaptive suspension absorbs rough surfaces beautifully while remaining composed at highway speeds. The cabin is airy thanks to the massive fixed glass roof. The BMW Curved Display with iDrive 8 is very intuitive and polished. The FWD single-motor setup is not the dynamic driver's car the standard iX1 AWD was, but for most buyers comfort matters more. Excellent value.
